Yuichi (Anger Flares/Bootstomp) has a long-time, profit-sharing relationship with a fucking fascist bonehead whose name is Towryow of the Japanese Neo-nazi/Nationalist band called Raise A Flag (as its band name suggests who they are).

Towryow (Cowardly, it's not his real but a false name) sent a threatening letter to me at http://dollq.seesaa.net on purpose saying that he demanded I quit writing anything on my one and the only Japanese Anit-Fascist/Anti-Racist Oi!/Skinhead blog at http://dollq.seesaa.net and delete all of the articles or else he will get a group together and will mob my house and Towryow said that even they will kill me.

As every Japanese people of sound judgment know, I have been writing a lot of acetous criticisms and cynicisms against the Japanese neo-nazi and the nationalist bands who believe Ian Stuart is God on my blog at http://dollq.seesaa.net in your Rock against Racism/Fascism's step.

However, Japan is such a backward country where Ian Stuart is still alive and makes his authority felt in.

Even Anger Flares who call themselves the Japanese best friend of The Oppressed turn a blind eye to such a fascism/terrorism bringing a freedom of speech into submission by violence.

Farewell to DQN Oi (2003) - Part 2

Whenever I'm going to see a show of these bands who're calling themselves 'Oi!/Skinhead' in Tokyo, I can find a few bands who're always putting St.George's Cross (England's National flag) up on the wall triumphantly. Also, there're some bands calling themselves "Made in England" or "East End", but they're never from England. So, I looked around another place where the Rising Sun fluttering however I could see nothing but an incomprehensible band saying Skrewdriver (Racism/White Power) is pretty cool.

I'm not saying that all the Japanese bands should show the Rising Sun flag but it's too pitiful a scene for me to see these children of Cobra have a sense of closeness to St.George's Cross, another country's flag, which belongs to those who think Japan is such a part of Hong Kong and its people are just Yellow Monkeys with a lot of money. These lyrics and song titles by a popular Japanese band are always trying be incomprehensible complacent English. They're all mess, fuss, just 'not' pure impact. It's nothing but a disorderly noise. I'd like them to notice that they can surely find themselves being spellbounded by such a trifle sooner or later.

Really, where's this country heading for? Just deeply feel such a thing.

The Japanese streets are always overflowing with those "anglophilia" bands.

We cannot understand a true appearance of Britain no matter how we listen to the CD's of those bands though. We can understand a Japanese character very well. Because they're crammed full of inferiority complex to the West, diligence, ambition, people's goodness, self-torments and feelings of estrangement, etc. It's no exaggeration to say that those "anglophilia" bands would be completed if we condense the Japanese tightly.

So regardless of whether someone is interested in Britain or not, it can be said that those "anglophilia" bands are the important genre of music so that the Japanese may look back on ourselves. Just to be that, there is an existence value in those "anglophilia" bands. However, it doesn't live up to the Japanese who are originally studious if we finish it off at the point. Therefore we'd better a little more discuss why it must be Britain fulsomely in detail.

Have any idea about Sadistic Mika Band? I heard they were the first Japanese rock band who used to release an album in the UK and also who used to tour in the UK with Roxy Music. In 1974, we had such a band from Japan.

Their album "Black Ship" must be one of the greatest albums on the Japanese rock history. You can hear some of Gram rock, Progressive Rock and Funk by the Japanese band on that album.

However, the punchline of that band was that their female singer Mika who had been a wife for Mr. Kato of that band's frontman slept with the English producer called Chris Thomas (well known as a producer for the albums of Beatles, Pink Floid and Sex Pistols) for their album and the band had been broken up.

Here's one of the well-known Japanese Ska bands called Rollings under the influence of 2 Tone. It's a typically broken English by a Japanese though.

In 1996 summer, the story had began.We started by 4 guys.Then,the line-up were Ace-K(Gt.Vo.),Suzie(Ba.),Takeshi(Dr.)&Com(Pianica).The imagination style was sounds like the 2TONE& the 3rd Wave SKA.But,we couldn't be active enough by each one's working.....

V/A "ONLY IN CANADA, EH 77-81 - volume one" CD

While many consider England and parts of the U.S., most notably London and New York City, as the core of the punk movement, Canadian youth quickly became embroiled in this new breed of sound. From coast to coast bands spung up, some short lived, others around even today. The one thing in common with all these bands is that they left a mark on the Canadian punk scene for years to come.

With Canada being such a large nation, the interpretations, influences and the geographical diversity, lead the bands to create a unique and distinctly Canadian version of punk. While many of them went relatively unnoticed on the international scene and to an extent Canada due to the distances between cities, the bands left their mark on their fans. To this day, some of the bands appearing on this CD are highly sought after by collectors of punk music.

When we, Punk History Canada, decided to put this project together, we wanted a fair representation of bands from across Canada. Even though some of the bands appearing on this CD are decidedly not punk sounding in today's terms, they were integral parts in their local music scenes. These bands were groundbreakers that inspired their fans to pick up an instrument and say "I can play in a band". They were part of a musical birth where the directive was "Let's have fun and make noise", instead of sitting back, smoking a joint and being bored by aging rock giants.

This CD is a tribute to the early punk bands and their fans who persevered through verbal abuse and beatings to spawn the second generation of punks to follow in their footsteps; It is also a tribute to the band members and their following who have died along the way without hearing their songs released.

So sit back, enjoy and take in a bit of Canadian punk history. Hopefully this is only the first installment in a series of CD's that we are planning on releasing. The next one will focus on the years of 1982-1984 and the subsequent one covering 1985-1987 and then we will repeat the process all over again with volume 2, 3, 4 etc. After all, there were a lot of punk bands in Canada, eh?

The only band I know on that CD is D.O.A. They're a typical/stereotyped Canadian punk band. But there have been a lot of unknown other bands in Canada since the dawn of the punk rock era! Amazing.

Oi-Skall Mates released the rest called "Six Pint Evil Taste" of the double CD album.

DIWPHALANX RECORDS are thinking nothing of consumers. They've released the VERY LIMITED edition of its picture LP collected those 2 CD's into one LP. It was already sold out and out of stock now (FYI: "Evil Taste Six Pint" CD they released the last time is already sold out as well, and some idiot is selling it with an unreasonable price at Amazon.co.jp . Sounds like its label would never release it again).

I don't know why they didn't release those 2 CD's into one unlimited CD from the beginning. They should not make fun of consumers. They're always doing what they like with us, aren't you? If they break their promise of limited edition to us and release a "2 in One" CD, that will caused a consumer's uprising against them. Don't think you can make fun of consumers.

Unfortunately, the magazine has been under such pressure that they have finally given up trying to report this issue further. Predictably, the Japanese press failed to follow up on their scoops. More dissappointing, however, was the foreign press in Japan's refusal to follow up their stories. The foreign press was their only hope and they were left in a lunch...

While this may sound like a grim joke, the truth is that the most reliable news source in Japan is the broadcasts on right wing sound trucks, these are followed in reliability by magazines and tabloids while the biggest liars of all are the mainstream newspapers. There is many a scoop to be had for the taking by any non-taboo constrained foreign reporter willing to listen to those sound trucks...

It is an open secret in Japan that all LDP politicians are linked to crime syndicates. Japanese political reporters usually know if a politician is linked to the Yamaguchi Gumi, the Inagawa Kai or the Sumiyoshi crime family (hint politicians from districts south of Nagoya are usually Yamaguchi while Tokyo and Yokohama politicians tend to be Inagawa and Sumiyoshi)...

Koizumi's grandfather, also a politician, was famous for sporting a full-body tattoo and showing it in Parliament. Tattoo are widely associated with membership in yakuza gangs in Japan. "We have no comment to make," was all a spokesperson for Prime Minister Koizumi's office would say...

...and I'll write something about the Oi! of England, its birthplace, gradually. For my generation, a Japanese band called Cobra who played their songs with everyday clothes and without makeup in 1984 was a clue for knowing this kind of punk after all, however, ironically, I've L-O-S-T interest in Cobra rapidly as soon as i knew them to quote such an English band for their own interviews and so on. Because of the Cobra and their favorite (Oi punk?) band called Toy Dolls who were monopolizing popularity among a bunch of "Oi of Japan" featured MA-1 + lace-up boots (Hawkins) who had their hairs parted at the center, the recognition of Oi! in Japan was UNUSUALLY careless. Or I remember the "Oi of Japan" swallowing such silly things as the hippie remarks or the article saying "Oi! = the group of racists" on the Doll magazine which were reprinted from MRR and their preference changed from Oi! to Skateboard...

Various Artists "Reds Strike The Blues - A Tribute To The Redskins" CD

Radical left-wing politics on Top Of The Pops anyone? Fourteen years before Chumbawamba hit the mainstream charts, the Redskins were the first band to bring revolutionary socialism to the dancefloor. Their fusion of 60s soul, rock, pop and punk with an uncompromising political stance raised many peoples' consciousness' during the 80s struggle against the Thatcher government.

Few bands have suffered so much critical flak and unfounded abuse as the Redskins. Their opponents came not just from the right but from the left too. The Redskins' politics were not some rock 'n' roll pose; they Really Meant It Man, and many people from all political backgrounds found that unpalatable. It was easy to criticise at the time, but so much of Chris Dean's words have an uncanny resonance of truth and relevance today. The Redskins were slated for disparaging Live Aid; they were proved to be right. They were slated for attacking the Labour Party; well, just look at New Labour's record in office and deny that Chris' predictions about Labour (for Kinnock, read Blair) weren't spot-on.

Few bands have backed up their rhetoric with such determined action as the Redskins. Where in the music industry today can you find such commitment and dedication? They meant so much more than so many other bands, and testament to that can be found both in the plethora of benefit gigs to support the miners strike and antiapartheid, and in the eyes and minds of people like myself that they helped to permanently open a little bit further.

I would also like to point out that on a personal level, I found Chris Dean one of the most genuine, honest and approachable people I have ever encountered. For instance, he was instrumental in helping with the Wake Up miners benefit EP (offering, without the knowledge or consent of their record company, what was to be their last single, a superb reworking of Billy Bragg's Levi Stubbs' Tears, which has the honour of being Bragg's favourite cover of all time) and he helped set up contacts to make sure the money raised from the project was put to the best practical use. Chris was often maligned for his arrogance and intractability (if you can't fault someone's politics, make a personal attack), yet I have seen few so willing as him to patiently and constructively engage in debate with their critics. I could name several other "left-wing" musicians who were incapable of hearing the slightest criticism without losing their tempers and storming off.

Ultimately (and perhaps inevitably), the band's constant struggle to balance the demands of the music industry with their political principles led to their demise, but their legacy has never been properly acknowledged. For all the criticisms they faced, the Redskins never got sucked into the hypocrisies of the music biz - which is more than can be said for a lot of other supposedly idealistic performers.

The New Year Talks 2005 - Part 2: Rotten Smell Covering over Japanese Punk

Making a general comment, "DOLL" has nothing but masturbating articles and their point of view is hackneyed. But they would not bother to make a better magazine than such a coterie-type zine by false writers.

Oi-yama: Let's get back to what we were talking about. The sales of the "Burst" as a subculture magazine were going up several years ago because they broke away the taboo under the pretext of showing us those shocking stuffs to make themselves came out victorious in the business world. There was a lot of response to their straightforward point of view. However, that was going too far. "Burst" became like such an erotic and grotesque magazine with pictures of corpse and nude girl and the fans lost interest. These days, "DOLL" is monopolizing the whole Japanese punk market as there's no cut-throat competition in that world. It's displeasing to me and the Japanese punk scene has the misfortune to get involved in such a totalitarianism too much. However, the main point is unclear to me. "DOLL" is not gaining the strong sympathy of many in the fans like what the past "Takara-jima" and the above "Burst" used to be.

Toshi: Oh, that's right. There are many Japanese bands and labels who'll grin to themselves at the "DOLL", but there might not be so many fans who'll become enthusiastic about "DOLL" and feel like "I will go along with 'DOLL'".

Oi-yama: The main problem on the "DOLL" is that they're faceless. They don't have a person who's controlling the magazine, right? They're guilefully escaping from the responsibility. Tsukamoto is now posing as a chief editor but he neither takes responsibility nor waves a flag. Those false writers will insist that they're not escaping from the responsibility but they actually don't have such a person as the captain of a ship for the whole magazine. "DOLL" is not a magazine but a coterie-type zine by those false writers and label owners from outside. I believe a magazine should have a respectable chief editor with his clear policy of thinking on what Punk is, and that will become a center of their activity. And his staff writers will give life to such a policy. That's why the fans will be able to be absorbed in their "ism" and their view of the world, right? I know Tsukamoto will get all the blame and it'll be hard for him to live in such an 'exclusive society' of the Japanese punk scene today if he waves a flag though (Laughter). But making a magazine is like such a team sport or a team play. "DOLL" is strongly influenced by the principle of "peace-at-any-price" in everything because they're the unadventurous geek types of false writers. Making a general comment, "DOLL" has nothing but masturbating articles and their point of view is hackneyed. But they would not bother to make a better magazine than the current coterie-type zine by false writers.

Toshi: Oh, that's what struck you as incongruous. For example, they had such an annoying article. They had a special feature article introducing those Japanese bands and its releases from Bronze Fist Records and Pogo 77 Records, but I think they should not praise themselves to the skies for their own masturbating articles.

Oi-yama: Yeah, you said it on some essay in "Dokyuso Oi The Column" as well.

Toshi: I often saw those label owners playing a part in a masturbating article they wrote themselves. I guess "DOLL" had accepted a bribe from them and they wanted to turn the spotlight on them though. Although those label owners are masturbating in an article they wrote themselves, I cannot understand what they've done for themselves because that made the fans who were just about to buy their CD's lost interest. Those label owners could write anything full of masturbating articles out of a desire to have the fans buy their CD's. In my opinion, I don't wanna listen to such a lame excuse to the fans for selling CD's and it's meaningless that they plant such a preconception without respect in fans hearts. I saw something like such an article on MRR but their knack of writing an article was obviously different. Finally they'll make a candid opinion and it will be shifted to each consumer's judgement. But those masturbating articles they wrote themselves about Bronze Fist and Pogo 77 will be a bore when the fans are about to buy their CD's, right?

Oi-yama: But "DOLL" allows them to write such masturbating articles so those stupid fans brainwashed by "DOLL" have no problem?

Toshi: I think those label owners should spend money out of their own pockets and should listen humbly to a magazine's criticism. The biggest problem is that those false writers who're usually writing nothing but masturbating articles on the "DOLL" flattered Bronze Fist or Pogo 77 and appropriated the "DOLL" for their own personal use. That's qute possible on their own label's masturbating fanzines but it'll be a disgraceful affair if they make it on the one and only Japanese punk magazine called "DOLL". Whose side are "DOLL" and those false writers on? On fans? Or on bands and labels? Readers will have no confidence at all in what "DOLL" and those false writers say if they go along easily with occasional atmosphere and change their views.

Oi-yama: Yeah, the owner of the Bronze Fist Records called Takasaki who wrote those masturbating articles is stationed in the "DOLL" and writing those bullshit live reports and interviews too much for the bands of his own label. So, someone made fun of him on the 2ch because he appropriates the "DOLL" for his own personal use. That will offset DOLL's debt. (Laughter)

Toshi: Well, it's hard to say. I think the fact that you said as "They're faceless. They don't have a person who's controlling the magazine" has harmful effects on the "DOLL". They don't have a common ideology as a magazine. Don't you think so?

Oi-yama: Yeah, they must be the one and only punk magazine in Japan but it is disgraceful for them to be such a PR machine for those bands and labels. As I said before, they can make excellent discographies about minor foreign bands. But I believe they don't have a common ideology on the basis of what let them make a punk zine and of why another famous Japanese zine called "Rockin'on" can't fill their shoes. That's why that excellent discography articles did not stand out in the magazine. I think they should be capable of stirring up the fans. They should sweat very much. Whether it's a cold or a hot sweat, they should be more energetic. Those false writers and label owners each take responsibility for one aspect of the work and that must be a way out of the difficulty on the 'exclusive society' of the Japanese punk scene today. But I would just look on without doing anything while they're playing such cheap tricks if I were a reader of the "DOLL".

The New Year Talks 2005 - Part 1: Death Cry of The Griffin

There are many gifted bands in Japan. To our regret, most of them are not running as fast as they can.

Toshi: Well, the announcement of The Griffin's broken up was the last year's big event. Ignoring "the Dokyuso Oi company (aka Pogo 77 Records)", they have been pursuing the British youth cult deeply and also have been writing straightforward lyrics on their original songs. However, there wasn't enough fans for such a band to do a fine business in Japan. It means that the Japanese scene is desperately hopeless. Whether such a band as The Griffin can be sold or not, we should know there's a sign of what it is.

Oi-yama: Umm... To tell the truth, I don't appreciate The Griffin so much. Actually, the Japanese scene is now on the decline and there's no foundation such a deeper band can be sold on. However, what they have done is not radical enough, right? Their musical style is generally the Mixture Rock in a few years ago, which sounds like Back Drop Bomb with a bit of maniac Brit youth cult things. Basically, they sound like a hard rock as if it were the thin AC/DC with water three times, like a band from a major record company, and also kept up appearances for general music fans. One of their technical skills on the "Know the Score" CD was an old-school rap and this time it became a bit evolved Rap-core. These were really decent or ordinary things. They say they're making a selling point of the Brit youth cult things of its lyrics and it's very interesting though, so they should sell their CD's in England (Laughter).

Toshi: No matter what happens, they won't be able to be sold in England (Laughter). I don't like the fact that The Griffin's work is always nothing but a rehash of someone else's but people who'll buy those CD's of Japanese bands are very few in England.

Oi-yama: But an excessive "ism" will not gain the sympathy of many buyers in the market until they do reckless things to open the way for themselves like that. In a sense, they are unexpectedly the band of greed (Laughter). 'Cause they shifted toward the mainstream music like AC/DC, rap or rap-core. And the first thing we have to know something about them is that the core of The Griffin is invisible to us. That's annoying. If they've got an aim inside the strategy for success in those musical styles like AC/DC, rap or rap-core, they wouldn't have to pose as a minor band. They should have sat back proudly in a chair like "The Griffin rules!" and should have blown away those fake sing-a-long-a "Oi-punk (?)" like SA, Cobra and Laughin' Nose all at once. Don't you think so?

Toshi: Yeah, that's a sound arguement. But you're not charged with a risk 'Cause you're outside the scene (Laughter).

Oi-yama: I didn't want to be charged with a risk, so I was ready for being a fan. But you persuaded me to be on this "New Year Talk 2005" (Laughter)! Joking aside, what you appreciate on The Griffin is not their sound but those perfectly rhymed English lyrics, right? I love their lyrics itself as well. "The Age of Innocence" and "Poseur Blunder" are really interesting and the frontman, Inobe Atsushi (one of those greatest Inobe Footy Bros), has a good sense of writing lyrics in English. Those lyrics about social problems occured in Japan are excellent. But they're such a loner band. I thought they should have done more and more suggestive things with a bunch of their aggressive mates such as his own brother (Inobe Hiroki of LRF), Bill Leckie (Allegiance) and Yamashita of Sandiest.

Toshi: Well, I'm afraid that is rather risky to sell a band like that. Right?

Oi-yama: But there is not much demand for their CD's in Japan in such an ordinary way of selling a band. CD's of Japanese street punk bands were selling well when The Discocks played an active part in the Japanese scene. How do you feel about the present embarrassing situation?

Toshi: Umm... Japanese major record companies said that people may have those CD's free each other through the internet so the new products are selling poorly. But they're obviously shifting the responsibility onto someone else. Without making any interesting products, what the hell are they talking about? There were a great many numbers of dubbed tapes when the rental record stores were on the mainstream a long time ago. But they never said that the new products were selling poorly at that time. Dubbed tapes were nothing but dubbed tapes, and records were nothing but records. I think the problem is on their way of making a product of little substance which is good enough to download free thru the internet.

Oi-yama: That's why you said "We the fans are not a cattle just silently eating a feed given by bands and labels" on this site (Laughter). Actually, it is true that the bands are losing support among fans and there's no opinion leader in the Japanese punk scene as well.

Toshi: It's dangerous as there's no wholesome media of punk in Japan and Japanese fans are accepting whatever "DOLL" says without question. There's no "construction" but only "consumption".

Oi-yama: While you're making such a substantial website, aren't you? You're writing those reviews and criticisms full of substance and this time you're devoted to translate some of your articles from Japanese into English. In a sense, you embody such an "ism" as "You don't have to read the 'DOLL'" on your site. But the most important "DOLL" won't accept your challenge as they still have the principle of "peace-at-any-price" in everything.

Toshi: If they accept all of my criticisms, they will suffer a total defeat (Laughter). It's too bad that the Japanese punk scene don't have such a last resort to deny "DOLL" even if they want to do it. I don't know whether such an atmosphere affects it or not, but almost all the Japanese bands and labels are relying on the "DOLL" commonly these days.

Oi-yama: Japanese bands and labels themselves still have such a stereotyped phrase like "Have you seen the current issue of the 'DOLL' magazine yet?". Well, um, you the anti-DOLL are running against a head wind (Laughter). But such a media like "DOLL" influenced by only connections and personal considerations is approaching the final hurdle. Japanese punk is getting like a profitable business somehow or other and the "DOLL" is desperate to keep their interests on there. So, these days, only those medias on the internet or on the paper with a policy to stir up the fans will be able to survive the scene.

"The Oppressed Japan Tour" was canceled for some reason. Thanks for your supports. However, United We Stand cowardly did a midnight vanishing act, leaving the problem that they were having a cozy relationship with those nazi boneheads like The Hawks unsolved. There is no hope for the future of the whole Japanese scene.

Dokyuso Oi Recession - Another Lost Decade

I was afraid that the Japanese band called United We Stand would make an awful blunder. They did, as expected. I tried to think of the reason why they have failed in the scene and have disbanded soon and I came to the conclusion that they had a questionable name for themselves. That was absolutely deceptive.

"United We Stand (Divided We Fall)" is a justice that Martin Luther King, Jr. said on the American Black people's civil rights movement in the '60s and the slogan itself is great. I can't be opposed to it. However, the problem with that Japanese band called United We Stand is what was their feelings, mentality or authority for calling themselves "United We Stand". I couldn't understand it after thinking everything through.

Because they're living a peaceful life in such an extremely safe and rich country called Japan without facing with the real threat of racism, buying and selling those CD's of White Power bands through the Yahoo Japan Corp's auction site, and letting those Nazi boneheads who worship Skrewdriver as a god be on the loose. They got information about SHARP on the internet or something, and thoughtlessly followed in The Oppressed's footsteps as if it were JM (Japanese Movement) or SSS (Skinhead Samurai Spirits) who imitated White Power bands in the Japanese scene from late 80's to early 90's.

Besides, calling themselves "United We Stand" satisfied some sort of their self-satisfaction or privileged consciousness as if they were riding on the justice. I cannot bear to see them in such a deception. In this case, another sing-a-long-a? Dokyuso Oi band called Samurai Attack who don't have any brains is the better. I felt so.

Associating with The Oppressed was a marvelous opportunity for the Japanese Skinhead bands to clear away those Nazi boneheads who worship Skrewdriver as a god, however those nazi boneheads and United We Stand (now they changed their name into "Anger Flares") are actually in cahoots and they are connected with each other behind the scenes. I felt a bad taste in my mouth and had an ominous horror of the Japanese Skinhead scene as if they were making something like what a Canadian journalist, Benjamin Fulford, called an iron quadrangle which is made up of the Japanese government, bureaucracy, industry and yakuza and they are having a cozy relationship with all together.

Japanese Oi!/Skinhead scene fell off again without knowing the fact that they should clear away those nazi boneheads and should make a new scene without those nazi boneheads. That can be called "Dokyuso Oi Recession - Another Lost Decade" by the way of Benjamin Fulford (wry smile).

I know those Japanese bands, nationalist or not, do not injure a foreigner. Maybe they themselves are good people. However, the big problem is that The Oppressed is the overly-serious SHARP fundamentalist who's spreading Anti-Racism/Anti-Fascism all around the world. Well, so, those Japanese United We Stand and Oi! Valcans are really proper bands for The Oppressed??? I don't think so.

Excluding some of those goddamn Toy Dolls believers called "Oi! of Japan", the Japanese Skinhead scene once had those nationalist organizations such as JM (Japanese Movement - Humpty Dumpty, Bad Vultures, Bull The Dougs, Cracker Jacks, Warmachine, Contraclockwise, etc.) in Osaka and SSS (Skinhead Samurai Spirits - Bull The Buffalos, Cannons, Sledgehammer, Ouka, Ikazuchi, Aggro Knuckle, Eastern Youth, Kabuto, Growl Strike, Worst, etc.) in Tokyo who worshiped Ian Stuart (Skrewdriver) as a god but never ever had such left-wing ones as SHARP or RASH in Japan. Well, how about those United We Stand and Oi! Valcans' political attitude toward Racism and Fascism? I'm sure they never ever say anything about them and never ever take any action to them. What is worse, they are still associating with The Hawks who think Skrewdriver is pretty cool and who covered Skrewdriver song on their own CD. Actually, Skrewdriver is musically good. But do you think whatever bands musically good are OK even if they're singing a song like "Kill those fucking Japs, Yellow Monkeys, Second Class Citizens", eh? You take your jokes too far. Yeah, there's a SHARP logo mark on the sleeve of the "Skinhead Unity" CD. I'm afraid those Japanese United We Stand and Oi! Valcans are using that SHARP logo mark as if it were an indulgence even though they never ever done anything for SHARP. There're some money-making fake civil liberty organizations by Yakuza in Japan but I never heard such a word as "Fake SHARP". I'm too shocked by their stupidity to say a word.

The fact that the Japanese skinhead scene was originally the right-wing (never have been the left-wing like SHARP or RASH). The fact that United We Stand and Oi! Valcans are having a free ride on such a right-wing scene without saying anything about it. And the fact that those Japanese bands released a CD with The Oppressed and will invite The Oppressed to Japan in the future. They will give those Nazi boneheads like The Hawks, Strong Crowd and R.I.P. whose URL contains "88=Heil Hitler" and whose audience boneheads seig heiling on their shows as the support bands for The Oppressed Japan Tour??? You don't really mean it, do you??? Japanese fans understand these bullshit facts well??? The Oppressed is not familiar with the Japanese skinhead scene, so such nasty things will be able to pass unremarked. I'm sure The Oppressed will leave a stain on their Anti-Fascist/Anti-Racist career. But those Japanese bands are utterly confused. I believe SHARP is not such an easy way of life. I myself don't want to horse around under these "Fake SHARP" Japanese bands. Japanese Skinheads are a sign of the degenerate Japanese society.

If you doubt what I'm saying, you should ask them about it. They can't surely answer it. I don't know why, but those dorks have blind faith in the word "United". They have a one track mind. UNITED, UNITED, UNITED! They're completely clueless, they really don't know what a real Oi!/Skinhead cult is and what a real Racism is. I call those stupid bastards "Dokyuso Oi (Dork's Oi)". The so-called 'Japanese Oi!' you are referring to is, in fact, a work of "Dokyuso Oi". Those don't look like real Oi!. I think it's a scam. Actually, I remember Anger Flares (Ex-UNITED WE STAND) showed off those Skrewdriver record sleeves to sell on their website a few years ago. Hey, you can make a quick buck selling White Power CD's to Yahoo! Japan Corp's Auctions.

This Japanese punk scene is so dinky. It only has one magazine. No TRUE fanzines are available. It was such a letdown when I saw almost all the Japanese bands and labels selling their souls to the "Super Head Magazine DOLL". I hate sucking up to the "Super Head Magazine"! That "Super Head Magazine" was bogus.

The Japanese media are very good at reporting on foreign issues - Super Head Magazine DOLL, for example, makes excellent discographies about foreign bands - but when it comes to our own domestic issues, their coverage is not so good. I think it's maybe a characteristic of Japanese media. Even local media in Japan isn't good at criticizing their own areas. Japanese media tend to hesitate in covering critical issues on their own doorstep. Absolutely, The media must be willing to pursue the truth, because they are the public's eyes and ears. I was worried that the Super Head Magazine would become a PR machine for those bands and labels. But the Super Head Magazine's dictatorship now in place it's even worse than that.

A system of Japanese punk that is unprecedented in its secrecy and in the lack of public debate surrounding it. The Super Head Magazine's tenacious grip on news has led to a steady decline of interest in punk domestically. Fans may spend hours sitting around doing nothing, while waiting for a friendly band or label on the Super Head Magazine to provide them with some scraps of news.

Recently the morale of punk fans in this country has seriously declined. There are many reasons for this, but a number of fans complaining about the Super Head Magazine. Therefore, I wrote such an article about the Super Head Magazine ("Japanese Punk is ruled by the fascism called 'Super Head Magazine DOLL'").

Even those despotic countries like China and North Korea are turning such a Japanese 'totalitarianism' into a joke and making a fool of us. Originally, Japanese ain't got no roots individualism. I'm the one and only Japanese individualist who can have his own say clearly though. Haha.

The Structure of Japan's Dark Side

As you know, Japan is still a hopelessly 'totalitarian' state. In a sense, it might be a fascism that The Oppressed detested as if it were a viper. Also, we have no TRUE "freedom of speech" or no TRUE "freedom of expression" in our Japanese society. If I say something critically toward Japanese bands, they will threaten me with violence (e.g. Jerks at Pogo 77 Records). As a proof of that, The Avoided wrote such a song as "Taboo" ironically:

Read the scandals on the paper... The hidden truth and the plotted news... Whether we become aware of it or not, we're too chicken to accuse... Threat! Pressure! and Violence! (All We Got)... You better keep silence cos it's under taboo... The other side people you see it on the telly... Living a life almost suicide... But there's no much difference between the groups here and the dictator of the other side...

Another Japanese band called Youth Anthem said "No more violence!" on one of their songs but it must have been a lie. Japan could have a freedom of speech, but large parts of it choose not to be that.
A bunch of stupid Japanese bands are eyeballed our website all throughout the internet, looking for even the smallest faults. Those little fuckers are only capable of slandering our website at the internet. I don't get off on "Dokyuso Oi" anymore. They like to hang tough, but underneath I bet they're scared of us. They don't take criticism very well. I think they're too high-strung. They never listen to my advice. They're still so hard-headed. They are just a bunch of prima donnas. The Japanese Oi! cannot make a discussion; it's gridlock. Don't cop out just because you are afraid of getting into a little bit of argument. As a journalist, I want to get the lowdown on them, so the truth can be revealed. I wrote such a thing on the "Japanese Punk is a reign of terror".

Where Is SHARP?

It's a shame that the Japanese Skinhead scene is out of order. Ha, you make me laugh. It takes a lot of grit to do something like SHARP. There're no such advanced things as SHARP or RASH in the Japanese scene. They don't have to put such a fake indulgence SHARP mark on the "Skinhead Unity" CD (Don't buy that CD, I heard it really bites) because those Japanese bands are not divided into Nazis/Fascists or not. It's a kind of a trick only a child would have fallen for.

Offensive statements of a racist or chauvinistic character are almost routine among Japanese skinheads. CD's of White Power bands are being offered on Yahoo Japan Corp's auction site. All the Japanese bands never even have their own says clearly against these facts and, what is worse, there're a lot of stupid boneheads who approve White Power Music and Racism - UNITED WE STAND and Oi! VALCANS just want to avoid complications. This is disgraceful. This is the unacceptable face of the Japanese scene. There needs to be tougher laws against these boneheads.

I've been living in this country for many years, and I still can't read the headlines. Yes means no. Maybe means never. I think it's maybe a characteristic of Japanese people. The lack of public debate surrounding it is a peculiarity of the Japanese. Being down-to-earth is not a characteristic most Japanese bands have. Let's not buy their CDs; they're a stick in the mud.

Irrational Rising of Stupid Boneheads

Hi, all. I'm a Japanese who knows 'very' well about the Japanese Skinhead scene. I'm afraid The Oppressed and United Front chose wrong Japanese bands to associate with. Because those Japanese UNITED WE STAND (You don't live up to your name. You better change your name into "United Wankers"!) and Oi! VALCANS have a noncommittal attitude against White Power Music and Racism. "United We Stand, Divided We Fall" is a slogan that Martin Luther King, Jr. said on the American Black people's civil rights movement in the '60s but those stupid Japanese bands don't understand what it's all about. And still associate with those Japanese boneheads like The Hawks who think Skrewdriver is pretty cool and who covered a Skrewdriver song on their own CD.

What's the color of your skin, eh??? They should have known better. They're diggin' a hole for themselves. They're such posers... they've never even experienced real racial discrimination outside Japan! Don't mean a thing... Poseur are gonna blunder... They don't care about the score... Tell me, where's yer creed... You're nothing that we need... Allegiance whose frontman is a Canadian declared openly in the "King of The City" lyrics:
